NGO Campaign
Case Study
Creating the campaign.
The objective of this group-of-three project (consisting of two developers and one designer) was to create a (made up) campaign to promote a real life NGO. As the designer, my tasks included designing and creating the logo, social media posts, advertising materials and the promotional video. Branded with a spy theme, the NGO this campaign focuses on promoting is Apopo, an organization dedicated to ridding the world of landmines and Tuberculosis using specially trained scent detection rats. The logo, and its colour variations, was created in Adobe Illustrator.

Logo animation and informational video.
The informational and promotional video cut in Adobe After Effects features an animation of the campaign's logo and a call to action to encourage viewers to "Get Involved" and support the campaign.
Social media.
These are examples of types of posts the campaign, called Operation: Save Lives, would post on their social media channels, such as Instagram. These include designs for posts such as "Hero Highlight", "Meet the Team", or weekly posts such as "#MissionMonday" or "#WhatWeDoWednesday".

Advertising.
Included below are different forms of promotional items and advertising the campaign would have out in the real world. These include t-shirts, keychains, posters, informational pamphlets, informational booklets AKA Operational Manuals, and even guerilla marketing.

The website.
The campaign also has a website where users can learn more about the campaign or take action by adopting an "agent" or making a donation. This website is a responsive Vue app that features a home page with information and images about the campaign and the NGO, as well as a contact form and newsletter sign up option, verified and authenticated with an API created with PHP.
