Beer Brand Mash-Up
Case Study
Creating the logo.
The objective of this fun and comical project was to establish a new (and made up) brand of beer from an existing beer brand and a brand of a household product. Resolve Beer is a mash up of Tyskie beer and Resolve Pet Stain Remover. This (made up) beer takes the name of the Pet Stain Remover brand while the logo is designed similarly to the Tyskie logo.

Designing the product.
The label for Resolve Beer was designed in Adobe Illustrator. The bottle was created and designed in Maxon Cinema 4D. After appropriate texturing and selecting interesting camera angles, the promotional video for Resolve Beer was cut and edited in Adobe After Effects.
Establishing the brand.
These are advertisements created in Adobe Photoshop featuring the product and catchy phrases to promote Resolve Beer.

The style guide.
This is a mockup for Resolve Beer's style guide. This booklet, designed in Adobe InDesign, features branding details such as colours, typography, the logo and the backstory and meaning behind the brand.

Dynamic website assets.
On the left is an animation created in Adobe Photoshop of a hand catching a sliding beer. On the right is a cinemagraph created with Adobe After Effects of a pint of beer with only the pouring liquid in motion.

Coding the website.
Coded with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, the Resolve Beer website consists of five different web pages: "Home", "About", "Products", "Advertisements" and "Purchases". The website features the promotional images, video and dynamics shown above, as well as content about the backstory of brand, product details, Resolve Beer merchandise and more.
