Building a streaming service app.

The objective of this group-of-two project was to code and design a "Flashback" Roku streaming service app, featuring a collection of throwback movies for users to enjoy. This project was built with a Lumen API to host a MySQL database of various movies, organized by category (fantasy, adventure, action, etc.), which are rendered on the page using the Vue CLI. Further, the app includes a password verification system, various user permissions and the ability to remember multiple users upon logging in to the app. The site has two main designs: the main Roku Flashback page, with a sophisticated look and darker colour tones, and a Roku Flashback Kids page, with a more fun, brightly coloured appearance and kid-friendly movie content permissions.
